 10:10 Campaign
The Polar Bears - Bui Bolg’s cuddliest creations, are the new faces of the 10:10 campaign, to reduce emissions by 10% in 2010. The Polar Bears helped launch the 10:10 campaign in Dublin Zoo on the 21st of January . The walking, talking, dancing Bears delighted unsuspecting visitors and staff of Dublin Zoo with their arctic antics.
As well as launching the campaign the Polar Bears are on a mission to visit a school in every county in Ireland to spread the 10:10 campaign message. The Polar Bears started off their tour in Kildalkey County Meath where they thrilled students - and might have gotten them out of doing homework that evening! The Polar Bears were caught on camera in Kildalkey by RTE2’S News2Day which aired Monday 1st February.!

To commemorate the founding of Enniscorthy by St. Senan in 510AD, Enniscorthy Town Council have commissioned Wexford based street theatre company Bui Bolg to produce a spectacular night time parade on Saturday 6th of March at 7.00pm. The parade will pass by Saint Aidan's Cathedral, into Market Square, through Abbey Square and will go over the old and the new bridge.
Bui Bolg’s parade will be based on the theme of “Enlightenment” and will include a glowing fire float with fire performers, a sparkling River Goddess representing the River Slaney and a magnificent Celtic Bell in honour of St. Senan. To compliment the colour and carnival of Bui Bolg’s floats there will be music from The Garda Band, The Ballindaggin Pipe Band and The Wexford Samba Band.
The festivities will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display over Enniscorthy by Wexford Pyrotechnic Pat Whelan.
